On a night not so long ago, we had a blazing fun time shooting Megan Finnerty’s Dream Night. You might know her as @122degrees on Twitter, but she’s better known as the nightlife editor at The Arizona Republic and one of Phoenix’s best gals for going out.
For these videos, we really do let our hosts pick their favorite places, and Megan’s list was so much fun. I could go on, but I’ll let you watch for yourself.

So remember how we started our Dream Day video series with Mark Tarbell? Yes, well now we have added to our collection with Angela Johnson, a local fashion designer. You may know her from her “t-shirt” dresses, ball gowns, tops (she’s wearing one of her corset tops in the video and it’s smashing). She revealed a dress for SMOCA a while back using their logo and it’s WONDERFUL.
Anyway, Angela is an even mix of ladylike lovely and urban funky (okay, she’s really 75% funky) and we had so much fun shooting this video – we even learned about little hideaways from her! Check it out here!
And by the way – here’s her t-shirt SMOCA (Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art) dress…look close and you can see their logos…
Mark Tarbell. Who can help themselves from loving him? Not I. Maybe it’s his energy, his crazy sense of humor, or the care and overall deliciousness he puts into every dish at his restaurant, Tarbell’s. But it was his love of Phoenix, and his knowledge of all-things-hip to do here, that inspired this “Dream Day” video.
Mark gave us a list of all his favorite places, and we filmed the cream of the crop – places he returns to again and again. We think you’ll find something to suit your fancy as well. Even if you’re a local, I guarantee you haven’t been everywhere Mark takes you!
